unmute the sounds of my agony place them at full volume do not recoil from my fragmented voice its pleading anchors your burden and your silence buckles under the weight of truth did I arrive too loudly? chaining my anguish to you my love continues to bleed at full volume the sound swells, a relentless alarm against your locked door what cruel distortion— a love, left muted
