rage
a poem
do you want to see my rage it claws at heaven, bare-handed, demanding answers for this punishing life rage against god for the breath he gave and the suffering stitched within rage against the empire, machinery churning false promises rage for every hope bled dry through greed i will show you the fury of survival without salvation rage for the woman left behind, forgotten by a god they said was watching forgotten by the world that demanded praise, but mercy was needed am i meant to thank the heavens for a fractured life, while others rise in gilded resurrection i can show you rage it’s buried in the graveyard alongside my prayers and dreams
